Children
SLP Therapy
We work from a strength based approach and focus on the skills the child needs to be able to communicate effectively. Communication involves not only understanding our partner and being able to make our wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas known, but also how to interact socially with others and interpret their social language use.
Common therapeutic approaches used incorporate play centered learning with evidence-based approaches to engage and motivate the child during treatment sessions.
Cost: $150/hour
Articulation Assessment

An assessment for Language Disorder involves testing the child for both “receptive language” (the ability to understand what others say) and “expressive language” (the ability to express thoughts). An Intellectual Assessment is needed to confirm or rule out a Language Disorder. A Language disorder may occur in children with hearing loss and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ASD, ADHD, and learning disabilities. A language disorder can also be acquired after a person has had a neurological illness or a traumatic head injury.
