    Melissa is a Registered Clinical and Educational Psychologist, clinical supervisor, and director of Child Psychological Services & Wellness. She has over 15 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families with diverse needs.

    She specializes in the assessment and intervention of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Specific Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, and various behavioural presentations.

    She also facilitates groups and workshops on various topics including emotional regulation, social skills, ASD, ADHD, executive functioning, learning difficulties, anxiety, and positive and collaborative parenting.

    She has experience and is passionate about supporting clients in developing skills to manage emotional regulation, self-esteem, giftedness, anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and family relationships.

    Nicole has a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and her Masters of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary.

    For several years Nicole has worked in trauma informed schools and residential care settings supporting children 3-19 who have moderate to severe mental health diagnoses.

    Nicole brings a trauma-informed approach to her practice, where she aims to work collaboratively to understand a child’s past and current environment, to support their achievement of their individual optimum success.

    Nicole works with a variety of clients, including those with ADHD, ASD, anxiety, learning disabilities, and behavioural concerns.

    She has specialized training in cognitive, academic, memory, ADHD, and mental health assessments.

    Nicole is an approved provider for Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) and also works with children and families who have specialized services contracts and Behaviour and Development Support (BDS) contracts.

  • Gabriella Russo, M.Sc., Registered Provisional Psychologist (#P7844)

    Gabriella has received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Mount Royal University and her Master of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. She has specialized training in cognitive, academic, memory, ADHD, ASD, and mental health assessments. Gabriella has worked with a variety of clients, including those with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, learning disabilities, and behavioural concerns.

    Prior to becoming a provisional psychologist, Gabriella had spent several years working in residential and hospital settings supporting clients aged 8-17 who had ASD (levels 1, 2, and 3), ADHD, and other moderate-severe mental health diagnoses. She is passionate about supporting children, youth, and families with complex mental health concerns, and believes that building rapport with clients is one of the most important parts of the assessment process.

    Sharon has extensive experience working with children with ASD, selective mutism, Apraxia, and delays and disorders in the areas of language, phonology, and social communication.

    She has training in a variety of specialized approaches that support learners in the areas of receptive language, expressive language, phonological/articulation development, social language and literacy.

    She also has a wealth of experience working in special education, early childhood education, as well as private practice.

    She is passionate about supporting children and families to achieve their personalized communication goals, and the driving force behind her treatment planning is teaching through meaningful, playful and interesting experiences that are memorable for the learner.

    Developing rapport with children is Sharon’s number one priority!

    Lindsay has over 11 years of experience working with children and their support networks as a registered occupational therapist.

    She specializes in assessment and treatment of fine motor disorders, sensory disorders and picky eating. Lindsay strives at working with children of various diagnoses and complexities. She is passionate about working with children and helping them learn and develop through play.

    Lindsay enjoys working with children and their families to provide therapy to help them excel in all areas of development. She enjoys facilitating parent groups and workshops on a variety of topics including fine motor development, sensory processing and picky eating. Lindsay is trained in SOS feeding therapy and enjoys sharing ideas about picky eating with children and their families.

    Social Skills Group Facilitator

    Amber is a certified teacher with a specialization in Special Education and Teaching Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder & Communication Needs. She is also certified in Applied Behavior Analysis. Amber has over 15 years of experience teaching children and adolescents with a variety of strengths and needs, including; Giftedness, ASD, ADHD, intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, FASD and Learning Disabilities. A major focus and passion of her career has been teaching Social Skills to children and adolescents at various levels.

  • Tracey Bowes, B.Ed, M.Ed (Literacy)

    Tracey Bowes, B.Ed, M.Ed (Literacy)

    Tracey is an experienced classroom teacher of 31 years who has taught all grades from K-12 in the areas of literacy, ELL, math, middle school humanities, and fine arts (music and drama). Tracey is also a certified Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Practitioner and has her M.Ed. in Literacy. Her hope is to help everyone read and write using the most efficient, evidence-based practices available.

    Kevin is an experienced education professional with a passion for helping children and adolescents with learning disabilities achieve their academic goals and regain their confidence. He is currently completing the training required to become a certified Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Practitioner.
